Ukrainians in Japan Participated in International Festival
On October 23, 2022, the Japanese-Ukrainian Cultural Association took part in the World Collaboration Festival.
There were two stands, dedicated to Ukraine, created by International Association of Aichi Prefecture and the International Department of Nagoya, and a special location for a master class on Petrykivka painting.
Visitors of the festival could buy souvenirs, made by Ukrainian refugees living in Aichi Prefecture. All raised funds will be transferred to Ukraine.
"There was also a master class on traditional Ukrainian embroidery, which is an important component of Ukrainian culture. Japanese and folks of different nationalities wrote wishes for Ukraine. And a mandatory attribute of participation in such festivals is the performance of the creative collective JUCA entertainment," the Association's page informs.
