In the capital of Vietnam, Ukrainians held an event, dedicated to the 209th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth.
"The students of the "Zernya" Saturday school, high school students, Vietnamese friends, the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian community gathered together to recite the immortal poetry," said Iryna Haman, the wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Vietnam.
She also added that Kobzar's works in Ukrainian and translated into Vietnamese now sound more convincing than ever.
