On September 27, 2022, the Day of Ukrainian Culture was held in Lebanon, at the Likaa Hotel in Antelias.
The guests of the event were able to participate in a charity fair, organized by members of the Ukrainian Community of Lebanon; visit an art exhibition by the Lebanese art gallery "Exode", where Lebanese and Ukrainian artists presented their works as a charitable contribution to support Ukraine, and an exhibition of Arabic-language publications of the Embassy of Ukraine in Lebanon.
During the official part, the president of the association "Lands of creators" Kamal Bikassini, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Ihor Ostash, the president of the Club of Ukrainian Graduates in Lebanon Zukan Zharamani and the Head of the Ukrainian community in Lebanon Iryna Vysota made speeches.
The music bands of the Ukrainian community took part in the gala concert: folklore band "Onuky", the band "Palyanytsia", Mari Anna Zharamani, dance groups "Vesna" and "Zirka – All stars", Marina Vesna and Mario Tauk, gymnast sisters Maria and Hayfi Al-Farran and Emma Moufawad from Cirque Mini Stars. The performance of Illaria Ethno was the bright end of the concert.
"A very emotional Day of Ukrainian Culture in Lebanon was held at the Likaa Hotel in Antelias. There were many tears and worries, but we all were united by the thought of our defenders, the future victory. "When the guns are firing, the Muses are not silent." Together we are approaching victory", Ukrainian Ambassador to Lebanon Ihor Ostash wrote on his page.
Also during the event, the closing of the 5th Ukrainian Film Festival took place. After the end, all the guests were treated to delicious Ukrainian dishes.
