On December 3-4, the 22nd Charity Christmas Fair of Embassies took place in Athens. Dozens of countries from different parts of the world joined the event and presented their cultural heritage, traditions and cuisine. The United Ukrainian Diaspora in Greece together with the Embassy of Ukraine organized the Ukrainian stand.
Among the dishes offered by the Ukrainian housewives, were borscht, dumplings, canapés with lard and herring, Lviv cheeses, deruns, pancakes and pies with various fillings. Visitors also bought Ukrainian souvenirs: paintings, charming decorations with elements of national culture, as well as wooden toys and handmade decorations.
Also during the event, Ukrainian Saturday school groups performed - the children presented elements of Ukrainian traditional dances.
