The Exhibition of Ukrainian Culture Will Be Held in Kyiv
The "Unity" platform presents the large-scale exhibition project "Batkivska khata. Intersection of generations". The exhibition will be held at the Taras Shevchenko National Museum from October 29 to November 13, 2022.
The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for October 29 at 4:00 p.m. In the program:
- Olenka Bravo, author of the project, and founder of the "Unity" platform, on behalf of Ukrainian San Antonio, Natalia Sturgill, Svitlana Zadorovska Photography will present the project at the opening of the exhibition.
- Lesya Voronyuk, NGO "World Embroidery Day", winner of the European Heritage Awards, will present an exhibition of modern icon painting "Faith as a weapon" on ammunition boxes (artist Volodymyr Kravchuk) and an exhibition of Bukovyna carpets by the master of folk art Victoria Kitayhorodska.
- Svitlana Zadorovska, artist, member of the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine, co-organizer of the Batkivska Khata project. Homestead, the founder of the Unity platform, will present the Photo Project "Vid Lyali to Krali".
- Olena Sukhotska, folk artist of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, will present the unique doll.
- Andriy Paslavskyi, leading ethnologist of the Folklore and Ethnography Center of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, head of the workshop of Ukrainian goldsmiths VydymoNevydymo will present reconstructions of folk jewelry and, together with the Kyiv Kobzarsky workshop, old-world musical instruments.
- Olga Rovetska, pysanka author of "Trypilska Mavka", "Bride", "Yavdokha", "Angel" and others.
- Marina Satsura, an amateur artist, since February 24 this year, a servicewoman of the Arm Forces of Ukraine will present art panels with Easter eggs.
- Lyudmila Salevych will represent a rare type of creativity of painting with wax plasticine.
