Join the online campaign dedicated to the Crimean Tatar genocide

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center is launching a social media campaign dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide of the Crimean Tatar People.

In 1944, the Soviet regime criminally deported the Crimean Tatar people from the territory of their historical residence - Crimea - to remote areas of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. A total of 238,500 people were deported from Crimea, and the number of those who died in the first years was 110,200, or 46.2% of all deportees.

The Global Ukraine Foundation invites everyone to join the online campaign. We must remember this terrible crime, especially now that history is repeating itself. The Russian Federation operates by the same methods as the USSR. After all, its goal is the destruction of the Ukrainian people!
