A Ukrainian school was initiated in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Among the subjects are the Ukrainian language and literature, culture, art, history and traditions.
On October 1, 2022, the first lesson of the Ukrainian Saturday School took place on the territory of the Embassy of Ukraine.
"It was one more step towards uniting the Ukrainian community! We realize that this is only the beginning. But it is already clear that nothing could stop our desire to give our little Ukrainians this feeling of belonging to a big and united Family," the Embassy of Ukraine in Egypt noted on its page.
Saturday school became real thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian community activists, to whom the Embassy expressed gratitude for organizing a holiday for children.
