Ukrainian Communities Commemorated the Victims of the  Holodomor

Last weekend, Ukrainians commemorated the victims of the Holodomor: in XX century millions of Ukrainians died because of an artificial famine created by the Soviet authorities.

Ukrainian communities in different countries gathered for memorial events and services, organized manifestations and thematic lessons in the schools, and lit candles in memory of the murdered innocent people.

In particular, activists of the Exchanges Lorraine-Ukraine in Metz prepared dishes that Ukrainians ate during the Holodomor-genocide. A "Zhyttya" performance was organized at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius, and a memorial procession was held in New York.

In many countries, information stands with photos and documentary evidence were set up to spread the truth about these terrible crimes and horrors.
