Ukrainian children in Japan staged the play "Forest Song"
On February 21, the "Dzhereltse" Sunday school hosted an event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Lesya Ukrainka. During the event, the children read poems by the poetess, watched a recording of the performance "Forest Song", in which the children themselves took part, solved an interesting quiz.
"During ethnology lessons, our students learned a lot about the life and work of our outstanding compatriot, so they actively answered the questions of the quiz," says the page of the Krayana organization. You can watch the recording of the performance here:https://cutt.ly/ilOz0rN.
Harada Yoshinari, a teacher at Meiji University, spoke with the students of the school and answered their questions: "Mr. Harada's answers to the questions of our students impressed everyone no less than the fact that he speaks the Ukrainian language perfectly. And for children who grow up and are educated far from the Motherland is quite an inspiration to study it."
