On January 5, 2023, a cultural event took place in the Hamburg Town Hall, where Ukrainian children and youth performed Ukrainian carols. The event was held on the initiative of the Consulate General of Ukraine and with the support of the Ukrainian community.
"A sincere blessing carol performed by children and youth from Ukraine resounded in the very heart of Hamburg. The leading TV channels of the region showed our performance, so many Germans were able to hear part of the rich Christmas traditions of Ukrainians," the Consulate General of Ukraine in Hamburg reports.
Also important was the message of the President of the Hamburg Parliament, Karola Feit, that Germany has no right to reduce or stop aid to Ukraine.
