Ukrainians in Denmark are invited to cook borscht together

The Ukrainian community in Denmark is invited to a charity culinary event.

"When? May 8 - for lunch or dinner. Where? Everyone at home, let's share borscht recipes, photos, and at the end of the day we'll put them together in a wonderful photo/video collage," the Facebook page of the event says.

The concept of the event is simple: each participant prepares a meal at home, treats it to family and friends, and then makes a voluntary financial donation. The funds will go to help sick children.

"At the end of the day, we will tally up the results: how many liters of borscht we cooked together, how many people we treated and how much money we collected for the benefit of sick children," the organizers add.
