On December 24, 2022, Ukrainians of Korea met to celebrate Christmas together.
The celebration began with a joint prayer for the peace and victory of Ukraine. Then the Ukrainians gathered for a family dinner with traditional Christmas dishes - kutya, varenyky, cabbage rolls, uzvar, the Embassy of Ukraine in South Korea reports.
The participants of the first Ukrainian Vertep in Korea glorified the birth of Jesus with carols and showed other guests Ukrainian culture. After dinner, there was also a family caroling performed by all members of a large Ukrainian family in Korea.
