"Ukrainian Bookshelf" was opened in Warsaw
On October 4, 2022, the opening of the "Ukrainian Bookshelf" took place in the Main Library of the Masovian Voivodeship. The event was held with the participation of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, the Club of Ukrainian Women reports on its page.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian community, members of public organizations that contribute to the adaptation of Ukrainians who were forced to emigrate to Poland after February 24, 2022 in connection with Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the "Our Choice" Foundation, Myrolava Keryk, and representatives of the departments of the Ukrainian House, in particular, the coordinators of the Ukrainian Women's Clubs. Despite the fact that the meeting was short, it once again reflected the unity of Ukrainians.
"Political will is important in war. And the political will to achieve victory, I assure you, is more than enough," said Olena Zelenska.
Implementation of the "Ukrainian Bookshelf" project in Warsaw became possible thanks to the donor support of the partner - the "Kyiv School of Economics" Charitable Foundation.
