The annual Embassy Festival took place in the Netherlands, in which Ukrainians also participated. This event takes place in The Hague every year and aims to present different cultures and cuisines of countries around the world.
"More than 50 embassies tried to attract visitors with colors, sounds, aromas and tastes. But who can compete with borscht and Ukrainian cuisine? The question is rhetorical. The answer to it was definitely known by hundreds of visitors who stood in long lines to taste something truly Ukrainian... The Embassy's cooperation with the community once again proved its effectiveness, although the new popularity of Ukrainian dishes will definitely require additional efforts next year. Sincere gratitude to Vira Zwaan, Oekraïners in Nederland Foundation and representatives of the Ukrainian community, who made the day of September 3 unforgettable," wrote Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands Maksym Kononenko on Facebook.
During the festival, Ukrainian singers also performed, including Pianoboy and bandura player Maryna Krut. All funds collected during the festival, as Vira Zvaan noted in a comment to Ukrinform, will go to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.a
