Ukraine House Was Opened in Denmark

On 24 February 2023, Ukraine House in Denmark was opened. The Minister for Culture of Denmark Jakob Engel-Schmidt participated in opening ceremony.

Ukraine House in Denmark is designed to promote the strengthening of the positive image of Ukraine in Denmark, the consolidation of the local Ukrainian community, the improvement of understanding and recognition of Ukraine among the Danish society, as well as the strengthening of Ukrainian-Danish relations with the help of cultural diplomacy.

As part of the event, there was a panel discussion on the role of culture in ensuring the stability and democratic future of Ukraine, as well as the opening of the exhibition of Ukrainian art created during the war THE MUSES ARE NOT SILENT - Opening, which is a curated compilation of works created by Ukrainian painters, designers, architects, and creatives in reaction to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
