The project "We are part of Berlin! Strengthening the civic participation of refugees from Ukraine" started in Germany. This is a specialized course that lasts 5 weeks and includes seminars on politics, media relations, community activities, fundraising, etc.
The course is organized by CineMova e.V., which is part of Allianz Ukrainischer Organisationen. One of the meetings was dedicated to the public participation of Ukrainian community in Berlin.
"I was able to invite Zafter Cinar, one of the most prominent representatives of the Turkish community in Berlin and Germany, who told us about their experience of participation. It was fascinating and inspiring to listen his story," Oleksandra Bienert, the founder of CineMova.e.V., says in her post.
During the meeting, the issues of registration and activities of the organizations, the rights of employees were also raised. Political scientist Nataliya Pryhornytska talked about image of Ukraine in Germany and how to improve it.
