Scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Germany was discussed at the event in Berlin
On September 16-17, 2021, the Days of Ukraine took place in Berlin and Brandenburg. The purpose of the event was to strengthen Ukrainian-German academic cooperation.
In particular, the results of the implementation of joint scientific projects were summed up and German research on Ukrainian topics was presented, according to the website of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany.The official opening of the forum was attended by Maksym Yemelyanov, the ambassador-advisor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, the vice-president of the Free University of Berlin Verena Blechinger-Talcott, the member of the Bundestag Johann Zaathoff and the president of the German-Ukrainian academic society Olga Harashchuk.
The educational art project "Science is she" was presented. He talks about the contribution of Ukrainian women to the development of world science using the example of 12 figures - experts in mathematics, physics, biology and other fields of science.
The participants of the conference also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition "50 inventions that Ukraine gave to the world", prepared by the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany for the German-Ukrainian Academic Society.
