Association of Ukrainians in Denmark participated in "Ukrainian children - a Ukrainian book" charity initiative. And with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Denmark, 2,000 Ukrainian books were transferred to the Royal Danish Library.
"We are very grateful to everyone who joined and contributed to such an important cultural event! These books will be distributed among public libraries so that Ukrainians and their children always have access to their native language," the Association's page states.
To order book the following steps are required.
- Go to bibliotek.dk.
- In the section “Søg, find og lån fra alle Danmarks biblioteker” a search window will open, and below it will be written“Flere søgemålører”.
- Click and select “Materialetype”, and then “bøger”. The language is “Sprog”, ukrainsk.
- After scrolling up to the top of the page, click on “søg” and you will get a list of books.
- To order, select "Vælg og bestil". Next, you have to specify the name of the library or the zip code, where it is convenient for you to pick up the book, and read carefully about the terms of borrowing.
