Festive Concert Was Organized in Rome

On Sunday, May 7, 2023, on the occasion of Mother's Day, a concert of Ukrainian songs was held on the square of the Procathedral of Saint Sophia in Rome. After the Divine Liturgy, all mothers were congratulated in a special way: Ukrainian Singer Ruslana Lotsman from Kyiv performed her songs, as part of the "Ukrainian Light" charity European tour.

The community and guests of the pro-cathedral cathedral warmly welcomed the artist, singing well-known folk songs. Before the cathedral, a prayer for peace for our Nenka-Ukraine and a request to protect all those who stand in defense of our Independence flowed in songs.

During the performance, Ruslana shared valuable memories from her front-line concerts. The singer gave concerts for more than 500 times in various places in the East of Ukraine, performing songs to strengthen the fighting spirit and return to her identity.

In conclusion, the vice-rector of the cathedral, Fr. Dmytro Kudin, on behalf of the entire community, thanked the singer for a wonderful concert of an authentic and modern Ukrainian song, which gained special value while being far from home.
