Ukrainians in Switzerland, together with representatives of the Embassy, jointly celebrated the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's Independence and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.
"30 years of Independence is a long way for each of us. These are everyone's endless efforts and active actions, without which Ukraine would not be what it is today. We want to say thank you to each of you for your care, activity and big hearts," the diplomatic mission's website says.
In a friendly circle, the participants of the event tasted Ukrainian dishes, talked and had the opportunity to visit the exhibition of paintings by Ukrainian artist Nadia Ulyanich and listen to the presentation of Oles Ilchenko's novel "Port of Rye".
